Applications

An application is the service or product you operate in Konvio — for example, your API, web app, or data pipeline.

Most product screens read the globally selected application from the top bar. You do not re-select the application on every page.

Why applications matter

Konvio groups operational work by application:

• Conversations and agent context focus on the selected application
• Automations and reports can be filtered or scoped per application
• Projects (backlog, board, issues, specs) belong to an application
• Documentation collections are created per application

Add an application

1. Open Settings from the top bar.
2. Go to Applications.
3. Click to add a new application.
4. Name it clearly — use the name your team uses in production.

Select an application

Use the application selector in the top bar (left side, next to the sidebar toggle).

The selection persists for your session. When you switch applications, list views and agent context update to match.

Note

If you only operate one service, you may never need to switch. Konvio still uses the application model so you can add more later without restructuring your workspace.
